currently does not drop (bbb says it's supposed to drop from kunoichi/ashigaru) and cannot be found in gachapon either.

That one is already in the files and can be potentially obtained from Spindle's scroll option.

When we implemented the monsterdrops for the Ninja Castle area, we decided to skip this scroll. Before, it has always been only obtainable via the Gachapon, so we thought it's best to maintain the scroll's rarity that way.

I don't mind it.
Back in GMS, the only way to get an attack shield was to risk blowing up shit with dark scrolls. In the very least, it's nostalgic, and although you can make the case for other such items being easier to obtain, and therefore less "nostalgic"--White Scrolls and Chaos Scrolls come to mind--you also must take into consideration that it's nice that Noble even has a system in place such as the @spindle scroll lottery. In addition, there's also the prospect of saving up a crap ton of trophies for those 100% GM wishes scrolls.
TL;DR: We didn't have the GM scrolls nor the @spindle scroll lottery back in GMS, nor did we have Ninja Castle, so I'm fine with shield scrolls being unobtainable via drops. A little bummed out, sure, but I'm happy to at least have Ninja Castle--an area which we never even had in GMS (and which has some pretty cool Japanese-disco-fusion music to boot)--in this game.
