Hello Noblers!
After a few users bought up comments about @online we as staff are currently looking into the general opinions of the command. Currently, what @online does is show who is online and how many are online. The argue of some users was that they do not like to be listed online due to privacy and the fact the Buddy List does this work perfect fine if they are friend of user. We as staff see this as a perfect argument and understand the concerns of the users, since sometimes users just want to be left alone in peace.
The @online command stays for sure, though. However, the options are as follow:
1) Stay as how it is now
2) Make it only show how many are online on each channel
If you can, please give a short description why you've decided on the option.
As always its important to us you have the best experience when playing NobleStory.
Thanks,
NobleStory Staff

I would like to see some more privacy regarding this. If i wanted other players to know where i am or what i do in-game, i will simply add them to my Buddy-List; simple as that. Even if you intend to stalk someone else and are not related to the player, you still have the possibility to use the default game command /find. To me, it's nothing but annoying to know that players who never heared your name before are able to get this information about you. Might sound stupid to others, but this is completely reasonable for me. I'm not that much of a social guy afterall..
A simple toggle-function whether to be displayed or not would not be possible?

I would strongly prefer the toggle. Only because some players out there like to be contacted by new members for help and it will help noobies out a little if they feel lonely. When they need help and they don't know anyone and there are no GM's on/responding it could be an asset to them so they don't think that they are just own their own when it comes to an issue.

interesting. never thought that this would be a issue. an mmorpg with privacy? hmmm.
my vote is to keep it the way it is. we have a responsive staff team that strongly discourage online harassment and will resolve issues that arise. please feel free to reach out to any staff member either in game or via the forum, if you feel you are being stalked or harassed unfairly. it's also common courtesy to just tell people if you wanted to be left alone or just don't reply back; everything will be a-okay. in addition, it has been helpful at times for players to use the feature to help the staff catch hackers.

The great Denny speaks! Oh hail thy master... OT: I honestly think it's fine the way it is but then if it changes, then it changes. I have no problem with both these things.
