Hello Noblers!
I've been working past days for a NobleStory installer since we wanted get rid of the poor installer Nexon uses. I've already completed it and its now under final testing to make sure its fully working. The installer is smaller, faster, better, and have all our updates pre-installed as well as all unused Nexon leftovers removed. Furthermore, the installer also contains a new client and new etc.wz.
Features of the installer:
-Installs only the files required to play NobleStory, not MapleStory
-Installs the up-to-date last released wz files as well as an updated client (will be released stand-alone with the .wz once installer is released)
-Automatic applies a patch for Windows 8 users so the client runs perfectly without modification of the user.
-Automatic puts a desktop icon for the NobleStory client so you can right away get to playing
-Do not overwrite any settings you've used from past servers (we are that nice)
-Easy installation - can decide where to install, if you want a desktop icon, etc. Also, no "maplestory.msi" waiting for 2 years like the Nexon installer does - runs right away.
-Contains a readme.txt after installation for newcomers (info about server & features)
The updated client:
-A lot of updated text to show more which server you're playing
-Some typos or incorrect text strings fixed
-Pirates and bullets Korean message fixed
-GM/Super GM job changed to NobleStory Staff to be more clear
-Some other small stuff
The etc.wz update:
-Mapletips has been wiped and no longer appear (the NobleTip server tips stay and are controlled by our server)
-90% of the unused/broken CS items are removed, such as x2 cards that are not yellow, drop cards, some pet items, etc.
-Cleanup of unused data
Known "errors":
-If you do not run the installer as Administrator you will get an error after installation about elevation. Just click okay on the error and start NobleStory (don't have to be as admin) on desktop and play!

This installer will be released very soon, but is not required to continue playing. However, getting the new client and etc.wz that gets released stand alone with it is really recommended.
