Well, I've finished my spears collection which contains lv50+ spears and I actually wanna do something with this.
Basically I need some advice about end game spear and I have 3 best options:
* Lv85 sky ski (97 att 7 slots )- faster than other spears which means more dps (but less range ) and also more accuracy which means more dex washed into str.
* Lv110 dragon faltizan (142att 0 slots ) - my current spear. Perfected with 10s and 30s.
* Lv120 Timeless Alshupiece (117att 7 slots) -.strongest spear ingame so far, +10att more than my faltizan, +20att more than ski, and also looks very cool compared to others (except omega f3). if weapon level up system will be implemented it would be even stronger weapon.
So what you say guys? Keep with the faltizan to the end or?

I think it boils down to personal preference. Let's take those three spears and scroll them perfectly giving you a 132att Sky Ski, a 142att Faltizan, and a 152att Alchupiz. The question is does the 20 wep att that an Alchupiz can give you outweigh the DPS of the sky skis? And also do you want to put the effort into another perfectly scrolled spear when you already have your Faltizan?
If you post your STR and Dex here I can plug them into some formulas for you to try to get some statistical data. Or i'll post them here so you can do it yourself. Regardless I will be edit my post when I find these forumlas, I should probably look at them too since i'm a fellow DrK.

Using these formulas I have been able to calculate my approximate range with these three spears. (I have 595 str and 53 dex so those are the numbers I am using.) I got this info from Ayumiloves site so credit is goes to them.
That would give me the following ranges on my level 121 DrK. Note that these ranges are excluding any sort of wep att my other items give me and also doesn't include the added str from these spear hold. Sky Skis: 1555-3996 Faltizan: 1673-4299 Alchupiz: 1791-4602
As for speed (which is the main argument for Sky Skis) we look at the attack speeds of each weapons which are as follows: Sky skis - normal 6, Faltizan - slow 7, and Alchupiz - slow 7. That means that based on this chart from Fiel of southperry and using the skill crusher we can calculate how long it takes for each weapon to attack and get an idea of attacks per minute.
Out of a possible 60,000ms (a minute) we can see that Sky Skis would attack at a 1050 ms rate and both the dragon and timeless wep would attack at a 1230ms rate. If we convert that to attacks per minute we get these results.
Sky skis: 57.14 att per min Dragon and timeless: 48.74 att per min
With just those statistics I think it is safe to say that the 10 extra attack on a timeless Alchupiz makes it a better weapon than the Faltizan in the case stated above(perfectly scrolled). The difference between attacks per minute (apm) between the skis and the timeless is 8.36. Let's say that I hit for a damage around 6k,6.5k,6k with max crusher at my level (121) with the alchupiz at the rate stated above. I switch to the skis do the same thing hitting 5.5k,5k,5k. That would be roughly a difference of 3,125 damage per hit in favor of a timeless wep. Though after applying the extra 8 attacks per minute the Sky Skis would deal ~25k more damage per minute.
Therefore to summarize your original question I would rank the following weapons as such: 1) Sky Skis 2) Alchupiz 3) Faltizan

Thank you Reed! Well consider that I'm lacking trophies and spear att 10%s I think I'll go for the alshupiece once I get enough of them. But I still have a question for you Reed: didn't u mentioned earlier that Slow7=1140ms or so? It would change the whole calculations . I:d also like to 1-hit K/O as many monsters as podsible especially skelegons so I care about it more than dps. Also I'd like to hear more opinions  |
