Hello Noblers,
The time has finally come that I'll be going inactive as well. I am pretty poor with farewell threads so I keep it kind of simple. I want to thank everyone for giving me a great time and experience in this server. This is by far the best community that had barely to no drama to deal with, and if there was any it would have been solved really quickly. Furthermore, I had a great time to contribute to this server by staffing, moderating, and being a community GM. I had fun talking to a lot of you, screw around with plenty of you, and generally help some members out with issues and problems.
This is the first (Maple) server that I've majorly staffed as, and I think for first time I did a fairly good job. Outside of that, this is also the first server where I've became as high as level 171 and I am kind of proud of that, even though I had some help during my journey.
I will surely still login and hang out in FM, but most likely I am done with grinding and all that. No, I will not give away my items, drop my items, or delete my character.
Why am I (semi) quiting?
To keep it simple, I want to move on. My reasons that I wanted to join staff in this server is because I enjoyed playing this server a lot, it was donation free, and the staff was very friendly. It was also daily updated with updates that non (v62) server(s) has done yet, making this an unique server with features that no other server has working yet. I am a GMS-Like person and I enjoy servers that come as close to official server. Even to this date there is not a single server yet that has *everything* working yet, yet try so hard to be a nostalgic server. With Nina updating so much to make this a nostalgic server, I became more and more happy to stay in this server. Unfortunately, this database and Noble in general was never made to be GMS-like. The results with this is that already pretty major damage (in my opinion) was made that gave old users a big advantage over newer users, such as cheaper prices, more overpowered events, etc. The downside of that is that this server became a hybrid custom and nostalgic server, and thus it failed to gain movement and growing up. People see someone doing 99k damage and think "what's the point playing here if so many can do max damage" and thus quit since they have no goal. Outside of that, there's "small" issues that I don't like in this server on the Administration side, which causes poor communication with pretty important things.
This above is not 100% accurate but this is how I see Noble as in my eyes. You are free to disagree with it of course.
Once again, I want to thank the staff for giving me an opportunity to staff here. I enjoyed every second of it and it was much better than an other server where I was an intern for less than a month until I did quit.
I can still be there for sure to train future staff members (if any) that applied here so once they are accepted (if they will) they can learn how to do this and that.
Thanks everyone for the great time (you know who you are).
If you want possible contact information, feel free to PM me.
