Alright so basically, I'm pretty much tired of having to explain why I've disallowed it at least 17 times. So here's a rare opportunity to change the whole self leeching thing. Basically there will be 2 choices. If you're against self leeching, explain why in a post if you want to do so. This poll will last from now until next Wednesday (Sept. 17th at 11:59pm PST). If it turns out most are for it, keep in mind that the multi account and voting abuse rules will stay the same. That's about it, you can begin voting.

I vote against self-leeching. In the first place, this rule was set up for a good reason. We intend to encourage the party-play in the game and enhance communication between the players. By allowing it, we would give them the opportunity to play the game pretty much for themselves. You might aswell set up your own locally hosted server in that case. What's the point in having a character without even playing it? Horny for some top position in the rankings? That's just ... stupid. Nobody wants to play with such people; community-friendly players would just quit 1 by 1, leaving us with that bunch of solo'ing jerks. Such a playerbase would lead to the end of Noble-Story within a short time; no new players won't be attracted anymore or they'd quit real quick. We do not wish to let this happen to our server, that's the reason for why this rule has been standing here for already 2 years. I myself am also a player like everyone else, which provides me an insight into the arguments of players who wish to take advantage of self-leeching. Yet it doesn't seem to be fair for those who already achieved their high Lvs by obeying the current ruleset. I can imagine that allowing it afterwards might piss off quite a lot of older players, including myself. I already disliked to see the permission to play on 2 accounts simultaneously, in order to buff your own character. In my opinion, this caused a crack in the ideology of Noble-Story. Introducing self-leeching would simply break it at once. I myself have joined Noble-Story because of such fundamental rules. Slowly crushing this ideology step by step does not really encourage me to have my stay here as long as possible.. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ {personal note to SdwSlyr606, please obey the privacy} Right after all of the Events behind the scene regarding our Staff have happened, you assured me not to repeat the mistake to step into the background when important decisions have to be made. From what i see here, you are about to replicate it. The situation here is nothing new to you, is it? Just another random new player who complains about self-leeching not being allowed, without even having played Noble-Story at all. Just refer those to the thread which contains a ton of information regarding that topic; and this shall be the end of the story. Giving in that easily and removing our fundamental rules in an instant for rather vague reasons isn't really what i know you for. I expect you to show a little more guts here, as usual.

GG someone else that actually understands this, lol it seems I'm not the only now. I've tried to explain it to people, I've even seen that happen on other servers personally. Not very many seem to understand this, though it gets tiring when I have at least several people badger me about it every now and again. Even several times with one person lol. So we'll see what everyone thinks about it, then let's just hope that we don't end up with the same problems those other servers had if most are for it. The self buffing was Nina's thing, I originally was going to let them multi client but the 2 accounts couldn't interact with each other. Of course knowing Nina, she didn't exactly like the rules we had very much. If she really had the chance she would have gotten rid of most of them lol, but she drastically changed some of them instead.

Against. I've explained to you in past why, but pretty much I agree with all your reasons.

Against. I would prefer the top rankings to not be : bishop, bishop, bishop, bishop bishop as in other servers.
Ps. Please for those that have two forum accounts to not use both accounts in the polls.

Against. I have a perfect example from other MMORPG that will show you why. I play some MU Online private servers where self leeching and multi users are legal and thats creates a situation where every training spot is populated by 5-6 characters in a party (one of them is a strong Soul Master or Magic Gladiator), belongs to one player who uses multi-clients, which can't allow weaker players to train unless they get a strong character and multi-clients..... it will make a server of AFKers and grinders and bring down the community to ashes.
I joined Oldstory (and then came here) for the nostalgic experience of leveling ur own character, not for these things.
