Hello. I am writing this to inform you that your mac client is broken. I have tried multiple engines with the most updated wrapper with no success. I would be happy to work with you guys to figure out the solution as I am probably one of the only mac players. (technically not a player yet, have only made an account no character yet)

Hmmmm I must have done something wrong while updating the files it sounds like. So first download the old Mac files here, www.mediafire.com/download/midwk2mycfbgxmb/Mac+Client.zip. Then download the new client here, www.mediafire.com/download/6sr81q1l7gkadyj/NobleStory.exe. After that then drag and drop the new Noblestory.exe in Contents/Resources/drive_c/Nexon/Maplestory inside the Maplestory.app folder. Then download the wz edits from here, mega.co.nz/#!RY1RkJ4Q!jPhdDINP_kqBUX4fefI5d_6OaV00d7KqsJo2uy8uQ8Y, and drag/drop those files in the same place where the Noblestory.exe goes. After all of that try to run it and see if that works. |

I was doing some troubleshooting and just figured out the issue a few minutes ago. Thank you for your quick thoughtful response.

i've been playing on mac since day 1, haven't really encountered any issues except error code -38 which is inevitable

i've been playing on mac since day 1, haven't really encountered any issues except error code -38 which is inevitable I found the issue the directory in WINE was incorrect so it was using the wrong .exe but I'm glad it has always been working for you! |
