Staff Application

Sadly this will be denied and I will explain why. I've had several people come to me over the last few days since this was posted to be careful about you, and when I asked why they all gave me a similar answer. While I haven't had much of a chance to further know you since I hardly ever saw you online long enough to, these said several people have and told me how you were like. Being "a complete dick", as they all said to me, won't get you very far in nearly all cases. Also constructive criticism is a much better option to express any concerns you may have, an example being "There's something that doesn't seem to be done well enough as it should be, and here are my ideas on how it could be better." Completely bashing is never alright, especially one who is applying to join in a pretty high rank. The very last thing we need is someone this hostile towards things, and would also potentially not get along with the people here due to the overall attitude and actions I have been warned on.

Even if none of the previously listed things weren't a concern, there's the whole "doing whatever you feel like doing" approach I've been told you would be doing once you were hired to code. While we would be open to any ideas and whatnot, if you thought you would completely take over and do whatever you want whenever you want then you're quite wrong.



On the coding aspect of things, a kind of person we're looking for to fill that role has to be completely perfect in every way. Down to their coding skills, to their overall attitude towards others, to how well they can work with the other staff members and Kalyb, to how active they are around here, and so on and so forth. The most important part would be trust, basically if the person can be trusted. Again after having several people tell me very similar things, neither Kalyb or I are comfortable enough of hiring you at this time.

Even if none of what I explained above was applicable, I've hardly seen you around much at all and one of the key things was being active. Though if you do improve on just about everything that I listed above and want to give it another shot, then feel free to make another application again one day if you're still wanting to by then.
