I'm actually intrigued on this hardcore challenge but unfortunately, I already have 2 accounts. Therefore I'm unable to join since both of my accounts have characters on them. Unless a GM would be willing to help create an account for me, SOLELY for this challenge. This seriously sounds awesome. Good luck on this. If any GMs/Admins could help me with this process, please PM me about it.

I will join as soon as I have permission to create a second account. btw, how are we gonna prevent people from cheating on the rules. Is there any way to check if someone died?

We asked Adam, and he said it was alright, and helped us out on a bunch of a stuff. Whenever you get the chance just let him know that it's for this challenge, and I think he'll be alright with having a 3rd account, and helping you out.

We don't really have any ways to prevent cheating, right now. I had asked some of the Game Masters if there's any way to check if someone has died, and they all didn't think so. Maybe in the future they could add something, but I don't want to bother the staff with a little challenge, unless they actually want to help out with it. As of now, if you're going to cheat, it is really just a waste of time on your part. You'll be spending a lot of time on this hardcore character, while you most likely have other characters that you play primarily, and if you cheat on it, I feel like it will just be a waste of time for you. Of course, there could be people cheating, and I just ask if you or anyone else sees any of this, to report it to me.

IMO none of the rules should apply for events other than the drop/pick up rules. I wouldn't want to get kicked out of an event just because I can't party with people. Also, getting killed in the FM happens when you're AFK if a GM summons horntail or something. Getting killed in safe locations (town maps & FM) shouldn't count.

FM is eventmapped, so dying there doest count as a kill. Also there is no event where u MUST party in order to participate in it.
Regarding the idea of not counting the death if you die in town, I do agree with it, but its up to Gabe really if he wants to change it, and i doubt he likes the idea.

If you die in the Free Market, like Flux said, it doesn't count as a death since the map is an event map. The towns however are not event maps, so I believe that if you die there it should count as a death. (The only way for you to die in a town map is by Summon Sack, which is fair game)

2.4 Killing via Summoning Bags - Intentionally following players and using summoning bags to consistently kill them constitutes as harassment, and is not allowed. Punishment: 1st Offense: 1 Day Ban; 2nd Offense: 3 Day Ban; 3rd Offense: Account Ban

Lmfao, while it is against the server rules, if you are killed by someone spawning a Summon Sack on you, you still have to delete your character. I'm sure killing a high level Hardcore character would be worth a one-day / three-day ban F3.
