It would be nice to have the ability to subtract ap using the @str/dex/int/luk command~
as in:
@luk -10 which would enable trying out different character builds!
Granted this goes against the nostalgic principle this fine server has garnered I feel it's still worth considering.

Sorry to disappoint you but the chances to have this ever happening tend to equal 0.
Trying out different builds and compare them on the same Lv might indeed sound nice; however, there are too many side-effects going along with that, which make certain game efforts ridiculously easy - such as:
x HP-washing (you wouldn't have to bother making INT-equipment anymore, which you wear during a Lv up to increase your maximum MP; could just put all AP straight into INT for that moment)
x AP builds with low secondary (and tetrary) Stats, such as the low-LUK Magician or the low-DEX Thief
If you wish to do either one of the processes listed above, you will have to take the regular way and use AP-Resets. But don't worry, we have many different ways to obtain a sufficient amount of NX. Vote for Noble-Story (3,000 NX per vote), 100 and 250 points Nexon Game Cards which drop from all monsters, completing Events such as the monthly Scavenger Hunt. Combining all of these methods will grant you a noticeable number of AP-Resets in a fair amount of time.

I've never heard of HP-washing before~ but that makes total sense. As far as the AP builds -- I did consider that it might have repercussions on the NobleStory economy as well -- so I wasn't too disappointed to see that this was rejected as quickly as it was  I'm glad to hear that AP-Reset are implemented.. I will go on with my build with a little more confidence now! |
