How many hours would you be willing to devote to the server?
I’d be willing to devote 2-4 hours on weekdays, and 4-5 hours on weekends. Also I only have classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, so those are the only two days I wouldn’t be on much.
How long have you played NobleStory (or any previous incarnation of NobleStory)?
I have played NobleStory since December 15th, 2014.
How long have you played MapleStory in general?
I have played MapleStory from 2005-2008, then 2009-2013 on and off.
Have you played any other MapleStory private servers? If so, which ones and for how long?
Yes, I have played a couple MapleStory private servers in 2010-2011, the most successful was WaterShineyMS. The others died quickly.
Have you been a staff member on any other MapleStory private servers? If so, which ones and for how long?
I have been a staff member on a server named GokuMS, but I did not gain much experience since the server died in about 1 week.
What other MMORPG(s) do you play besides MapleStory?
None at the moment, in the past I have played Runescape, and OldSchool RS.
Are you in school or working?
Currently in University, majoring in Accounting.
What do you like most about NobleStory?
Noblestory reminds me of the days I used to play MapleStory with my real life friends, back in 2005-6. It does a great job of reflecting that Nostalgic feel that it is advertised to fulfill. The NobleStory community is very friendly. When I first joined, I got whispers from random players welcoming me and offering to help. It’s amazing to see how even while the community is small, newcomers are always welcome and do not feel left out.
Why do you want to work with us?
I feel the server could use another active GM. I think I would get along well with the current Staff.
What skills can you bring with you to the server (e.g. Coding, Database Management, GFX, Video, etc.)?
I don’t have any of these skills.
What do you think needs to be improved on the server, and how would you go about improving it?
I think having Carnival PQ would make the server a lot more enjoyable for the lower levels. I also feel like implementing an Event Point system would be very interesting. Please read this post.
I have heard some talk about lack of communication between GMs and players, I personally don’t agree with that as I believe the current staff’s opinions is enough to make changes based upon, if everyone’s opinion was taken then everyone might as well be GMs.
