How many hours would you be willing to devote to the server?
I am willing to give at least two hours a day during my busiest times (such as the week before final exams); on average I will say four hours.
How long have you played NobleStory (or any previous incarnation of NobleStory)?
A little more than a month.
How long have you played MapleStory in general?
Global Maplestory -- 2006.
Have you played any other MapleStory private servers? If so, which ones and for how long?
I played 'JesusStory' off-and-on for a year or so.
Have you been a staff member on any other MapleStory private servers? If so, which ones and for how long?
No.
What other MMORPG(s) do you play besides MapleStory?
None.
Are you in school or working?
Yes; currently a full-time student majoring in Computer Science.
What do you like most about NobleStory?
I'd feel more comfortable listing all of the positive features and qualities I find in NobleStory, rather than trying to single out which one of those I like the most.
If I did have to choose, then I would have to say the community. It is all of the people that are associated with this server that make it absolutely unique, interesting and worth being a part of.
Why do you want to work with us?
I enjoy programming and I enjoy MapleStory -- so it is only natural that I should want to program MapleStory.
My fiance and I are having a lot of fun reliving some of our youth, but have encountered a few (minor) issuessuch as quests that were glitched that I would I like to help fix -- along with any other to-do's the staff have/can come up with.
I also have a few fun ideas I'd like to talk about implementing
What skills can you bring with you to the server (e.g. Coding, Database Management, GFX, Video, etc.)?
I am confident writing programs in Java and have experience in Oracle and MySQL Database. (I am taking a course in Database Management as well as Microsoft's SqlServer this semester)
If needed, I do have some experience in PHP and Javascript (Ajax/Web development).
What do you think needs to be improved on the server, and how would you go about improving it?
I would like to help create a faster turn-around between users reporting a problem and a patch being made to correct that problem (which is not to say that I think there is any issue with the rate at which problems are being dealt with now -- I don't feel I have played long enough to have any real input -- only that I would like to see the lowest latency possible, and that I would like to help make that more possible).
