Hey guys, I can login and get all the way to the character selection screen but when I try double click the character the game just crashes without an error message.
This happening on all channels.
please help =)

Fade. It works on my vmware machine but not on my regular machine xO

Do you have a loopback adapter installed? If so, disable it.

If you have any anti-virus installed, they might be interfering with the connection.
It might also be a Winsock issue

Reset Winsock (Windows 7)
1. Click Start and then click Run.
2. Type cmd
3. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press ENTER:
- netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
4.Reboot the computer.
Note: you may need to run Network Diagnostics afterwards to "repair" your connection after this.

Guys, disconnecting after double clicking char is clearly mac ban, don't give useless solutions. Its also why it works on his Virtual Machine - you have a different MAC address. If I am wrong pls slap me for being an ass  |

Which error does he get than after double clicking char than? Also, Adam I can say a lot about your slaps but I leave that for an other time  |

Hello, in response to the person who gave me a solution to Windows 7, Im running windows 8 but I never had this problem before at all. And when I double click the character it just crashes to desktop - no ad and no error message at all.

If you've already tried the compatibility mode settings then I'm not too sure then sorry can't do anything else on my part xD Maybe try running it through Steam, Noblestory on windows 8 steam seems alright. That or try Sandboxie.

Ah no error message completely removes the chance its a mac ban F3.

Ok so I tried again today and this time I actually got an error. "you have been disconnected from the login server. please try again later."

Try taking a look at your network adapters (Open the Control Panel, Click Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing. On the left side of the window click on "Change adapter settings"). I disabled my VMware adapter and it worked after that for me, so try disabling all of the network adapter you don't need. (Right-click the adapter and disable) .
