The Official Noble Story Fanfiction/Story sharing thread!

No one in this making of the story was hurt. Everything is fictitious! The story was longer... but I decided to just get to the cabin XP

In the woods, people said there existed a monster that no one has seen and lived to tell the tale. Adventurers such as Often, Jaeger, Eloso, Hades, and etc. took it upon themselves to hunt down this mysterious creature to prove their worth. Each time an adventurer entered the woods, they would vanish off the face of the world. Although no one lived to tell the tale, people living off the edge of the woods in Ellinia would hear bloodcurling screams in the night. Knowing that adventurers as experienced as Often and Jaeger seemed to fall before the monster, the 5 masters decreed that the woods would be a quarantined zone. That is where young MikasaSuCasa and Paige come into play. See now, these young adventurers had just recently learned new skills after fighting the great Manon and Griffey. They believed nothing could stop them. When they got back to Ellinia and heard of the tale of the monster, they had to check it out themselves.

“Haha, that's a myth! I believe my hurricane could kill it so fast that even a starter can't learn to throw Three Snails,” boasted Mikasa.

“Ha! Your hurricane would fall beneath my blast!” said Paige as they walked through to the Ellinia's outskirts.

Mikasa stops and turns around, “Ha! You think you can kill it faster than I can? Watch this!”

As he finishes his sentence, spinning around so fast all the while taking out his Timeless Engaw that glowed with a fierce tinge of purple. Within seconds he was already in position before he fires out 4 arrows, striking a tree with such precision that the blows seemed like it was 1 arrow.

“Take that!” said Mikasa with pride in his voice.

“Haha, you forget. Speed isn't always the important factor when you can do this!” yells Paige as she rushes toward the tree.

Unhinging her Crushed Skull that spews out golden fire and her Maple Warrior Shield, she jumps up and spins clockwise while she yells out, “Blast!”

“Paige! Wai...!” shouts Mikasa as he watches two other adventurers walk out of the forest. One hurt beyond recognition and the other supporting them. But as Mikasa watches, the one supporting the other looks up, pushes the other one to safety as he plants himself on the ground, while pulling out a Gellerhead Shield. The warrior then looks up and shouts, “POWER GUARD!”

The Crushed Skull meets the Gellerhead Shield head on and fires off a rebounding shockwave that knocks Mikasa and the other onto the ground. After crashing to the ground, the warrior with the Gellerhead Shield, jumps backwards before rushing forward while pulling out a golden Sparta. Paige immediately springs up again fearing a confrontation, although she regains control by coming into stance. But before the warrior and Paige clash again, Mikasa sees a girl jump in between the two warriors and screams, “Stop!”

The warrior realizing a second too late shouts out, “Fuck! Anita! Get out of the...”

Realizing a second too late as well, Paige is also screaming, “Get out of the...!”

In the next moment, Mikasa, Paige, and the warrior shut their eyes, only to be met by a resounding clang from both sides. “Jeez, you warriors are so fuckin hot-headed... and Anita, don't just jump in like that.. Making me worried. Jesus woman.”

As everyone opens their eyes, everyone goes into shock for seeing what they're witnessing. Conan, the legendary Nightlord, was standing in between blocking a sword and a blunt weapon with just 2 ilbis, all the while covering the girl, Anita from any harm.

“Jesus Christ,” says Paige as she begins to apologize, “I'm sooooo sorr...”

“Oh shut the hell up,” says the warrior as he sheathes his Sparta and Gellerhead Shield.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” demands Paige as she sheathes her Crushed Skull and Maple Warrior Shield as well.

“You attacked me! What the fuck do you mean, 'what the hell is wrong with me?' I think it's more like what the hell is wrong with you!” shouts the warrior as he explodes with anger.

“ERWIN! Shut the hell up!” yells Conan, “This isn't the fuckin time! Shassia needs to get some help ASAP. We can discuss this shit later!”

“What's wrong with your friend?” inquires Mikasa as he starts toward the commotion.

“She's hurt badly, we need a bishop's help now,” replies Anita as she glances worriedly at Shassia's figure.

Erwin comes back while supporting Shassia's weight. At first glance, Mikasa could tell how damaged she was and how badly she needed a bishop. Where there was supposed to be a leg, there stood a stump bandaged at the end. Her arm had scars as long as his Timeless Engaw's length. Her armor singed everywhere as if she had been tossed through flames.

“I understand, here, have her drink this,” says Mikasa as he takes out a potion that glows with a purple tint as it sloshes around.

Erwin immediately puts himself in front of Shassia while supporting her, “What is that blasphemous item? Are you trying to take her away from me!?”

“No! It's just a...” stammers Mikasa as he backs away from Erwin's venomous glare.

“No! I'll not have Shassia be taken away from me! Never again!” yells out Erwin.

“It's a fuckin power elixir imbued with Daniel's magic!” yelled Paige as she marches toward Mikasa and Erwin, “You know? Daniel, the bishop?”

“Just freakin take it Erwin, I have no doubt that these guys are trying to help us,” said Conan as he walks toward Mikasa with Anita in tow.

“She attacked me!” shouted Erwin.

“No, I didn't!” yells Paige.

“Then why the fuck did you charge at me with blast?” replies Erwin with an angered tone.

Paige sheeplishly lowers her eyes and rocks back on her right leg while saying, “I was just... I mean... it's Mikasa's fault! He made me...”

“What!? Don't put this blame on me!” says Mikasa.

“But you were showing off!” yells Paige.

“THAT'S ENOUGH!” shouts Conan, “OUR FRIEND IS DYING AND YOU TWO ARE JUST BICKERING AROUND LIKE KIDS! LOOK! ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO GIVE US THE POTION OR NOT!?”

Without another word, Conan grabs the power elixir without a reply and tips the potion into Shassia's lips. The potion pouring out of her mouth as she is unable to function. With a start, Erwin lays her down on the ground and takes the potion from Conan's hands. With a startled cry from everyone, he starts to drink the potion. Or so they thought... Until they watch Erwin takes Shassia's face and leans down to kiss her.

“Dude... That's not the...” says Conan as he gets down to pull Erwin away before actually noticing that Erwin was giving the power elixir through mouth-to-mouth.

“Oooooh snap!” says Conan as he stands up again with a stupid grin on his face.

“Alright, so what the hell happened?” demands Paige as she walks away from the 'intimate' show, “What made you guys come out of there anyways?”

“The monster,” replied Anita as she walks with Conan away as Erwin nursed Shassia back to health.

“What? You mean... You saw it?” said Mikasa as his jaw drops.

“No, we couldn't see it. It was too fast. Even for me,” replied Conan as he drops down on a stump, “Within one moment, it had incapacitated Shassia. Therefore crippling our frontline. Erwin dropped back to defend Shassia, since it seemed to aim for her. But even with Erwin and I trying to defend her, she still took extensive damage. What seemed like an eternity but took all of 2 seconds, Shassia had come to be incapacitated and we had to fall back. We wouldn't have gotten out of there if it wasn't for the cabin.”

“Wait, what cabin?” asked Mikasa as the curiousity got the better of him.

“You guys don't know about the cabin?” asks Anita as she stared wide-eyed at Mikasa.

“No... it's the first time we've even heard of it,” exclaimed Paige.

“It's what the adventurers before us managed to build...” replied Anita as she looked at the ground as tears well up in her eyes.

“What do mean? They're alive?!” shouted Mikasa as he stares in awe and anticipation.

Tearing up, Anita is unable to speak, as she tries to reply. Only to have Conan stand up and wrap her in a hug while replying, “No. They're dead.”

“Wait, then what about the cabin? How did they make it? And why would a simple cabin save you?” asked Paige.

“The cabin is built out of 2 things. One is the armor and weapons of the deceased...” replies Conan.

“What's the other?” asks Mikasa as he leans forward excited to hear the second answer.

“Their bodies,” said Conan as he looks downward at the ground.

“... No... That can't be...” stammers Paige as she flops down to the ground.

“So you mean to tell me... what saved you guys... is...,” starts Mikasa until he bends over and retches.

“Yeah. You're correct,” said Conan.

“Jesus Christ... Who would even do that,” says Paige as she stares at her hands in fright.

“My friends,” said Anita as she and Conan pull apart from each other.

“What for? That's disrespectful to all adventurers! Who could do such a thing as abominable as that?” says Mikasa aghast at the thought of it.

“The effort and magic they put into the cabin made it so the monster can't get anywhere near or even go past it which leads into Ellinia,” exclaims Anita, “My friends gave their lives so the world beyond the woods would stay safe.”

“Their cabin in the woods saves us all from the monster,” says Conan, “There's nothing more greater than giving your life for the greater good as an adventurer.”

Damn that was actually quite good. I look forward to reading more of your work, especially in the way you portray "intimacy." ;]

Once when i was 9 my family was on vacation to florida. I saw a cooler and decided to try to surf on it hawaian style.

Unbenwost to me there was some 2 liters under it, and the second i put my weight on it, it collapsed throwing me straight into the side of a glass table's edge.

My mom rushed me to the hospital, and the emergency care people instantly stitched me up.(30+ stiches) I still have the scar, luckily it was directly on my eye brow, so the hair covers it. As we were leaving the hospital, my mom had left the lights on in the rushed panic state she was in, and we had to wait for my grandpa to drive over and boost us

The next year in florida my grnadpa let me drive the boat that we went out on, and a swarm of manitee came up to our boat and we petted them and hugged them, and gave them a small bit of food (agianst the advisement of the group).

By the next year he had died of cancer. Those florida trips are the only real memories i have of him, i'm glad they are memorable ones.

He actually got it because he worked in the same place one of the nuclear bombs was made (oak ridge)

Thaknfully that lead to a small-ish settlement later for my grandma

The Sun Goes Down. Night had fallen over the almost-forgotten realm of Ellin Forest, and it was pitch black. It was somewhat peaceful, but MikasaSuCasa had no idea what he was even doing here. He enjoyed the peacefulness, and listened to some retro video game music while wandering the woods. It had been a long day. He didn't know where he was goin', but he sure knew where he had been. So here he goes again!

After a few moments of wandering in the woods, he came across an abandoned cabin. "Funny," he thought to himself, "I don't remember this cabin in the woods ever being here. I sure hope Erwin is in here so I can embrace him and stroke his big, bulging muscles." He entered the cabin. Inside was not quite what he expected: it was a simply-built cabin which was rectangular in design. All of the rooms seemed interconnected, and no doors were to be found. There were a few tipped over chairs here and there, which MikasaSuCasa paid no mind, but what really grabbed his attention was an oddly scrawled note which was posted on the wall, seemingly by magic. He took it and examined it.

It read, "DON'T LOOK, OR IT TAKES YOU."

Suddenly, an ominous piano chord could be heard in the distance. This set MikasaSuCasa on edge, and he started to panic, and he ran out of the cabin at a breakneck pace. Yet the disembodied, invisible piano persisted. He increasingly was driven to the brink of insanity, and was running with every fiber of his being set on escaping this dreaded, pitch black forest. And then he saw it.


It was the dreaded Slender Man, who had somehow wandered his way into the wrong game. Every hair on MikasaSuCasa's skinny figure had raised itself in terror, and he instantly turned around, letting out the unmanliest scream which would ever grace Noble Story. He pulled his Motorcycle mount out of his pocket (because here in MapleStory, we can say "to hell with physics" like Dora the Explorer does) and mounted it. 

Despite the motorcycle's speed, he still felt that the hideous being was chasing him closely, and he dared not look back. His eyes set on the road, he drove--and unlike Sammy Hagar, he could drive 55 and in fact pushed his bike to the limit. After a few minutes of this, he came to a ravine, and realized that in order to make it back to the safety of Helios Tower, he would have to make the jump. So he did what anyone in fear for their life would've done: he revved up his motorcycle, prayed to the Noble gods, and jumped.

And then the motorcycle exploded in midair.

The end.

Also, just FYI I'm not writing to win any prizes or anything. I doubt that my entry this week will win anyway (personally I'd give the reward to Mikasa this week). But if I do win, I'm not claiming my rewards.

If you got a good laugh or two from my story, then my goal is accomplished and I need nothing more than the simple knowledge that I brought some momentary joy into someone else's life.
