Noblestory Winter JQ Spectacular (From Dec. 2013)

Welcome to the NobleStory Winter JQ Spectacular!

This tournament will consist of 1v1 Jump Quest competitions between all players who have signed up.

There will be a preliminary round to determine initial seeding, which also allows players to win some easy points. Simply participating in this round will earn you points (and wins will earn you more points), so do not fret if you are not a great Jump Quester. Everybody will win something!

After the seeding is determined, I will put together a single elimination bracket, and the actual tournament will begin. All competitions will then be best 2/3 with players competing against other players based on their previously determined seeding. Given on how many players sign up, points will be given out accordingly based upon the round in which players finish. The further players get, the more points you will be able to earn.

I will discuss rules, regulations, and abnormal circumstances more in-depth when I put up the schedule.

Now, I'm sure you're wondering about the extensive prize list. Well, as you can probably figure out, I will be keeping track of your points totals from this tournament. You will be able to use your points to trade in for the prizes below.

*Players with a BYE in Round 1 automatically win 10 points for that round.

I have updated the tournament standings with a list of players. In this preliminary round, your goal will simply be to compete against every other player on the list. Don't worry about how you finish too much since you'll be in the main tournament regardless. This simply determines byes and seeding. If certain players are not online, and I notice that they've been inactive after the majority of the other competitions have finished, I'll count them as disqualified, and you will get a default win (+ points for the win). In this round, you can choose any map as long as both players agree to it. In the tournament bracket stage, JQ maps will be randomized and all contests will be best 2/3 with 3 different maps if necessary.

I'd highly recommend having a GM watch over your competition. That could be Denny, Adam, Mike, or Me. This shouldn't be difficult as one of us will likely need to warp you to your JQ map of choice. If, however, you choose to JQ without a GM make sure to take a screenshot, video, or have both players agree on an outcome.
