Because GMs aren't human and can't make mistakes. I've seen one of the items of the "proof" the GMs had on Ryan (a SS) and they took what was being said in the screenie entirely out of context. Not everything they speculate and call "proof" is correct.

Our team has re-considered your case.
We have chosen to unban you, along with giving you a final warning.
Abusing the vote system is an offense to the server rules and is punished with a permanent ban from Noble-Story.
Consider this case as a huge exception, given the recent circumstances and a staff-internal misunderstanding.
It will not be tolerated in the future, as a note to everyone.
Furthermore, i kindly appeal to all players not to comment on anyone's ban appeal if you are not directly related to the corresponding case or player anyhow. Most of such posts are inaccurate due to lacking knowledge, irritating for players and Staff, and give the ban appeal a bad atmosphere, along with questioning its seriousness.
In order to prevent this, any kind of scenario similar to this one will be punished with a forum ban for the corresponding person.
An appropriate way of communication and having good manners is self-evident in our eyes, and we expect everyone to obey it.
