Voter of the Month

I know that I voted during the downtime, and although it didn't count for NX, apparently it still got recorded. I can only assume that Ace and Pati were doing likewise.

The Voter of the Month results are based on a screenshot, taken from the corresponding table of our database (which is not going to be shown here, or would you like your account name being visible for public?).
You are of course correct that an amount of 51/50 votes is impossible, if you consider our recent downtime. With a flawless procedure of voting throughout the entire month or March, 62 votes would have been the maximum. Right now, I do not know how many days exactly it took us to be up again after the maintenance. But even if you subtract 2 votes per lost day from the ideal amount, it should be less than 51/50.

I see a viable reason. The option to vote was only down for the time the website has not been working correctly (not displaying the corresponding site's content). Which was not the case for every day of our server maintenance. However, we do know that we have advised our players to refrain from voting for that time being. Simply because none of the NX which you would have achieved would have been saved.
In other words: the data for everyone's accounts have been rolled back, while the counter for everyone's votes hasn't.
I do agree that this is not fair to those who competed for the March Voter of the Month. Please excuse me for not taking that into consideration before, as I just followed the usual procedure of retrieving the results.
We are going to discuss if there are any easy ways to compensate the rest.
