Additional pets don't loot items, only the lead pet does. They do however loot mesos.
I was asking around and nobody knew, so, since they were not looting, I thought hey maybe equipping the other pets works in this server :V *boom! lost a pouch*
Then, silly me, I thought hey maybe instead of double clicking the pouch I can drop it in the equip window? :V *boom! lost another pouch*
As a result, lost 2 Item Pouches.
Sorry for the trouble, this could have been prevented if I would have seen the thread below before trying it.
