What would have been at least, yes today's the day. Before anyone asks, yes I'm still alive. I didn't die contrary to anyone's belief lol. So I did the next best thing, disappear completely from everything Maplestory-related. Anyways, obviously we are no longer around to celebrate this occasion so instead we can reminisce and talk about the memories we have made during the times that we were indeed around. It's much preferred if the bad stuff that happened throughout the 2 1/2+ years were to be left out of this, so let's celebrate the good times instead. So this thread will be the place to do the memories sharing. What were your favorite moments or memories did you have while playing? That was for the rest of you guys and gals, not including me lol. Funny enough I very nearly forgot that yesterday was the anniversary. Someone had to acknowledge our birth lol, so I came back on here to fulfill that one mission. And now my mission is complete. Nice to at least see two familiar faces again. Guess I'll start then First Guild in Noblestory v3 (Died real quickly, due to Maxwell quitting)  One of my oldest images I have of Noblestory (Yeah, I had my name changed to Yoshi later, in memory of my Dark Knight on another server)  Me getting level 70 and job advancement (Non-Adam lurking version)   I was the first person to get to 70 on this server (30 as well). Took me a week (could probably do better now, but this was before I knew everything I know now, plus I still didn't have all the 2x coupons yet). Crimson (Admin Erik) getting to 70 (Sorry I didn't post this up until now, Eric, Erik, w/e letter came after the Eri, idk).  Getting to 120 (After much suffering, cause I had to gobies til 110 >.<)  My first Bigfoot kill and first one on this server  One picture I have of Moris, Dixi, and I killing Capt. Latanica (back when he was op).  What was probably my First crow and the beginning of me giving free crow service lol 
Completing the Haunted Mansion jump quest (for an event I think)  Picture of my outlaw, using the NX I had on OldStory  Fun times with the bird graphical glitch (at least I think that's what it was)  Solo Bigfoot on my outlaw  Me getting to 120 on my Bishop (Thx Ninni, Will, Tone, and Dixi for leech)...  ...and 4th job...  ...and getting Genesis (thx Ninni for HTPQ)  Me getting the BPQ completion achievement  |

 You might be the only one who actually kept screenshots from that long ago  It's interesting to see these screenshots, because they remind me vicariously both of how fun the game could be, and also of how flawed it was and why I'll never return to it. It was also neat to see some people's names there whom I'd never seen in game, and also some names I've completely forgotten until now. For the most part, this server did have a pretty good community, and I think the fact that there are still people posting here 3 months after it has closed attests to that. |
