Hi this is Lyla Passing by to say hi and clarify that I didn't leave you. Some idiot banned my account and also my IP, for no good reason. The last thing I posted was a picture of the glitch that lets you equip items in the wrong slots, when the server was closing. I had to ban you because you neither showed any understanding nor respect for our kind appeal not to do any naughty stuff and behave for the last couple of hours, although the termination of our services has already been announced. My bad for taking that as a matter of course - we are on the internet afterall. {Anyway, it's good to have you back; and good to ban someone again once in a while. I really missed that.} Not really. You are free to stay and check out the forums from time to time to keep in touch with the community if you wish to do so. I do think you might've gone a little overboard with an IP ban there, considering that the announcement that Noble would be closing soon was made well in advance, and considering that she never would've done any hacking otherwise. Besides, wes (and everyone who benefited from his hacking in the last hours) weren't IP banned, but instead merely given an account ban. Which doesn't really matter anymore, now that the server's down. oh, and this is my face, since apparently this is the new fad  |

I do think you might've gone a little overboard with an IP ban there, considering that the announcement that Noble would be closing soon was made well in advance, and considering that she never would've done any hacking otherwise. Besides, wes (and everyone who benefited from his hacking in the last hours) weren't IP banned, but instead merely given an account ban. Which doesn't really matter anymore, now that the server's down. Kind of different, though. I'ma have to agree with Ace on this one. To me, at least, the SS was her way of displaying that she'd been abusing the bug for quite some time. Granted; That doesn't confirm she had been abusing the bug, but considering she never took the time to inform the Staff of said bug, so they could try to potentially fix it, it wouldn't be too far fetched to put 2 and 2 together and come to the conclusion that she was probably abusing the bug throughout her time on this server. Then, since it was announced that the server was shutting down, she figured she may as well reveal her deeds without any "real" repercussion seeing as she was losing her character either way. Pretty premeditated if you ask me. Whereas wes blatantly hacking the day of, was just a one-time-irrational-thing. And: Date of announcement: Apr 30, 2015 at 11:59pm Date of her post: May 1, 2015 at 2:59am I wouldn't necessarily call that " well in advance". Lol, just like old times, eh?  Looking over what I wrote, I have no idea why I wrote "well in advance." Maybe I meant to say something else. Dunno.  Yeah, I can see how you could make that conclusion, though I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt until they've shown enough evidence that they shouldn't be afforded that benefit any longer. It's generally best to go with "innocent until proven guilty," or else you'll end up on a wild witch hunt. Also, I seem to remember Lyla saying in guild chat, something along the lines of, "I have screenshots of Derp doing this bug on another private server, and I saw his friends doing it here, and I've been curious to try to get it to work; I've finally done it, and posted a screenshot since I know the server's going down anyway." I think the fact that she posted that screenshot on May 1 only proved one thing, which is that she happened to be hacking/glitching on May 1, and nothing more. And regardless of how long she had been hacking, I still think an IP ban to the forums is overkill, especially since... well, the server itself is down. |

You have made quite the movie from a simple picture. People wouldn't believe I pulled off the 'trick', I posted to show it. I didn't inform about it because I didn't know how to make it work and didn't attempt until that day, and also they already knew about it, Gordon was banned for that. I did report the Bath Robe meso exploit as soon as I found out. Other than the last day, the closest thing to cheating I did on this server was using a simple auto-clicker to drop mesos on 3 Bigfoots, because my wrist was hurting after 4+ hours of non-stop fast clicking. Well, that and hoarding on (glitched?) stacked ciders but not sure if that can be considered cheating since most people was (ab)using them. So many memories while im writting this~ Regardless of what people did or didn't in game, I got an unnecesary forum ban and a beyond unnecesary IP ban, that's about it. By the way, there were way more people than wes hacking that day, some noticed I saw them when I telerocked to them, but I won't tell any names because it's pointless. For any claims, contact my lawyer Erwin. |
