Hello NobleStory! It's the 1st of June, which means it's the beginning of another new month of NobleStory events. You can find them below. To celebrate the 67th anniversary of the Roswell Incident, this month's area of choice is Omega Sector and Eos Tower.
1. June Scavenger Hunt
Collect items/screenshots to receive some special one-of-a-kind prizes. Get on hunting! Note that there was a slight rule change on the top 5 rewards. More information here!
2. June iSpy
Find the location of my image(s), and win some fantastic rewards. Get on searching! Note that as with the Scavenger Hunt, there were also some rule changes on top 5 rewards along with 4 week completion rewards. More information here!
3. June Ores of the Month
The two June Ores of the Month will be Bronze and Mithril. For every 5 Bronze Plates or 5 Mithril Plates, you will receive 1 Event Trophy and 1 Maple Leaf. Talk to Mia (@mia) to exchange your refined ores for prizes! This will last until the end of June.
4. NobleStory World Cup
As many players may know, the 2014 World Cup is coming up in a couple weeks and will last approximately one month. Thus, we thought it would be fun to host a similar style of tournament on our server for the month of June (and maybe July if it runs long). Some older players may remember the Winter JQ Tournament that we hosted back in December/January. You can find the format, rewards, and results of that tournament at this link!
Essentially how this tournament will work is that players will compete against other players in 1v1 matches. There will be something similar to a group stage to determine seeding before a single elimination knockout round. Players will receive points with which they can claim rewards, and the amount of points a player receives will be based upon how well he/she does in his/her matches.
Additionally, I was previously asked by players in the past about possibly including other types of events for players who don't like Jump Quests. For those players, possible tournament style events include Chair/Seduction, Team Challenge (maybe 2v2), or Tug of War (maybe using the Team Challenge mobs).
With this in mind, if you'd be interested in participating in a JQ World Cup Tournament (or a tournament involving one of the other hosted events), feel free to reply to this thread, or let me or one of the other GMs know. If you like for an certain type of event to be held as a tournament that was not mentioned, please feel free to reply as well. A lot of this is currently tentative since it really depends on how many players are interested in participating. Much more information will be posted in the coming weeks. I'll probably close sign-ups in about 2 weeks or so. The original JQ tournament from December had a total of 17 players signup so hopefully we can beat that mark this time around.
5. The Great Surfboard Exchange
Collect the following Surfboards from mobs around NobleStory
Gold Surfboard (level 15) - Slime, Bubbling
Surfboard (level 30) - Bubble Fish, Ligator, Clang
Black Surfboard (level 45) - Ligator, Lorang, Tortie
Green Surfboard (level 55) - Lorang, Tortie
Red Surfboard (level 95) - Bone Fish, Squid
and exchange them for 3 Rare Surfboards that cannot be found from any mobs:
Tsunami Wave
Bullseye Board
Purple Surfboard
