Omg. One from every era, eh? (No love for Eric Bell though ) I've memorized most of those note for note, excluding the ones from the Snowy White era. I thought Chinatown and Renegade were comparatively lame. Drugs. Why's there a picture of Scott Gorham and John Sykes for the "Angel of Death" one though? Sykes didn't come around until Thunder and Lightning.

Slightly related, favourite Motorhead album (that's not from the classic lineup anyway) had Robbo as the guitarist on it.

I'm just insanely glad the current lineup that had been touring under the Thin Lizzy name for the last few years decided to start under a different name when they were recording a new album a couple of years back. Imagine if they hadn't done that and it was truly a new Thin Lizzy album doe, oh dear.

My favorite Motorhead album, likely due to Robbo alone. He brought a lot to the table and really rounded out that band--he brought more melody, decent songwriting, and tons of attitude to the table.
"Dancing on Your Grave" and "Shine" are some of my favorites off of that album. "Shine" has a wicked cool riff that definitely sounds Lizzy-inspired, or is at least akin to something Robbo would've contrived with Lizzy (those major/minor 3rd dyads which he harmonizes with themselves) and a great solo.
And yeah, Black Star Riders is pretty neat. They released their second album not too long ago. My only beef with the current incarnation, though, is that Scotty seems to be the only original member there. I think the band would be even better if they got Robbo or even Sykes to fill in the second guitar slot.

LOL. Yeah I saw that too. Personally I always thought his best output was with Lizzy on T&L and Whitesnake on that 1987 album. His solo stuff didn't thrill me too much, but it's still enjoyable. Nuclear Cowboy is either hit or miss, and it didn't do much for me.
His stuff with Tygers of Pan Tang is good, but generic IMO.

Yeah I remember listening through Nuclear Cowboy while playing GTA 3 one day lol, it did seem a bit hit or miss kind of thing. Reminds me to go through the Blue Murder stuff one of these days, I only remember going through like 3 songs while random Youtube surfing. XD So much music and not nearly enough time, it makes me cri.
